Shook Attorneys Chosen to List of Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers
Thomson Reuters recognized four Shook attorneys as Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers 2020.
Shook attorneys named to the list are:

- Caitlin Convery, Rising Star, Creditor and Debtor Rights
- Victor Schwartz, Super Lawyer, Legislative and Government Affairs
New to the Super Lawyer list is Convery. Her practice focuses on creditor’s rights, insurance matters and counterclaim defense. Convery provides guidance and assistance at all stages of litigation from pre-trial settlement negotiations to post-judgment enforcement. Convery also assists clients in resolving garnishment-related defaults and judgments.
Candidates for Super Lawyers Magazine recognition are graded on a point scale that considers 12 indicators of professional achievement, including experience, representative clients, verdicts and settlements, honors and awards and pro bono and community service. No more than the top 5% in each state are included in the Super Lawyers list. Rising Stars must be 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or fewer, and no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state are named to the list.
