Former Federal Prosecutor Andrew Boutros to Co-Chair Shook's White Collar Practice
Shook welcomes prominent white collar attorney and distinguished former federal prosecutor Andrew Boutros to the firm. Boutros will serve as co-chair of Shook’s Government Investigations and White Collar Practice and will be based in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
“As a former federal prosecutor leading high-stakes litigation matters, Andrew brings tremendous experience to our government investigations practice,” said Shook Chair Madeleine McDonough. “His joining Shook enhances our deep trial bench and our capabilities for the benefit of a wide range of clients.”
Boutros’ practice includes government enforcement defense, criminal and civil trials, internal investigations, false claims litigation and more. His matters frequently involve the Department of Justice, the United States Attorney’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Before joining Shook, he was regional chair of a global law firm’s White Collar Practice.
Shook’s Government Investigations and White Collar Practice includes the firm’s most experienced trial lawyers who have direct government experience in a variety of agencies. The group is led by Former Missouri Deputy Attorney General Bill Corrigan along with Partner Patrick Oot who served in the Securities and Exchange Commission.
