Automotive Litigator Joins Premier Trial Firm Shook

Litigator Amy Maclear moves to Shook to help build the firm’s renowned team serving the cutting-edge automotive industry and other industries. Maclear is a skilled trial strategist who defends consumer fraud actions and mass tort claims against automotive manufacturers in state and federal court and is experienced in autonomous vehicles, tort and product liability, and complex commercial litigation matters. This includes fraud and fiduciary breach claims and high profile personal injury claims against mobility platform providers, who provide the services of several transportation functions into one. Maclear handles all phases of litigation from initial claim assessment to trial.

Rounding out the leadership team of the automotive group is Los Angeles Managing Partner Michael Mallow who is known nationally for his track record obtaining successful results in automotive class actions. In 2020, Colm Moran and Robert Feyder moved to Shook from an AmLaw 10 firm and brought with them decades of experience in national and global franchise and automotive dealership matters along with commercial litigation skills. Mallow and Nassihi along with Tristan Duncan co-chair the firm’s Class Action and Appellate Litigation Practice.
