Boston Scientific Receives Defense Verdict in Jury Trial
In a case remanded from multi-district litigation, Shook, Hardy & Bacon and co-counsel firms Hood Law Firm LLC and Ellis & Winters LLP received a jury verdict for Boston Scientific Corporation on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.
This two-week jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina is the first pelvic mesh trial focused on Boston Scientific’s Uphold device, used to treat pelvic organ prolapse.
