- Advising U.S. and foreign-based companies in the conducting of national and multijurisdictional internal investigations involving federal enforcement matters (including Anti-Kickback Statute, RICO statutes, SEC regulations, and FCPA requirements).
- Providing legal advice and support in the conducting of internal investigations involving state enforcement matters (including state Consumer Protection Acts).

Representative Matters
- Conducted internal investigation for a pharmaceutical company regarding concerns submitted through reporting channels about potential violations of sales and marketing. As lead investigator, the firm conducted employee interviews; performed targeted review of email and electronic files; prepared final report with findings/recommendations on whether personnel violated guidelines and/or federal laws and whether employees retaliated against individual(s) who submitted concerns.
- Conducted internal investigation for a telecommunications company following anonymous report to internal ethics hotline by employee. As lead investigator, the firm conducted interviews, including with anonymous reporter; reviewed documents on external financial guidance provided by company, and financial information provided by company to third parties in connection with financing; final reporting finding allegations were unsubstantiated.
- Conducted internal investigations for a construction contractor involving domestic operations, and had an exclusive role in engaging in all interactions with DOT OIG attorneys regarding internal investigation outcomes.
- Performed an internal investigation for a defense contractor. The president of the company made allegations of misconduct, including whether governmental approval was forged. The firm investigated whether those allegations were true, which included meeting with a number of employees and analyzing the client’s emails and documents.
