Michayla works in the firm’s renowned Product Liability Litigation Practice. Before coming to Shook, Michayla served as a judicial law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, where she conducted legal research and drafted and edited judicial opinions and memoranda on criminal and civil matters and analyzed and discussed pending matters with the judge.

Michayla earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and served as a lead articles editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy. During law school, Michayla interned for the Honorable Elspeth B. Cypher of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Interning at the highest appellate court in Massachusetts, Michayla's work included summarizing further appellate review applications to determine likelikhood for a Court hearing and preparing recitation memoranda for justices on upcoming arguments.
