Jad is a business litigation and data privacy partner with significant experience in privacy and product counseling, class action litigation, government investigations, incident response, technology transactions and commercial litigation. He has significant experience handling legal issues across the full life cycle of data management and is adept at counseling clients on domestic and international privacy and consumer laws, including AI issues.

Jad advises clients ranging from tech startups to Fortune-rated corporations on privacy compliance and risk avoidance and mitigation strategies. This includes legal considerations in regard to state, federal and international privacy regulations, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Rule (COPPA), the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Washington Privacy Act (WPA), the Michigan Video Rental Privacy Act (VRPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), and Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act. His clients include providers of mass consumer products, software developers, cryptocurrency, Web3 companies, and other cutting-edge technology and service providers.

Jad is certified as an Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
