Caitlin is an associate in the Environmental and Toxic Tort Practice Group. She brings a passion and professional experience in agriculture to her work in environmental law and product liability defense for her clients. She credits her upbringing on her family’s Centennial Farm for cultivating her legal aspirations as an advocate for the industry that raised her.

Caitlin earned her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she was an editor-in-chief and staff editor for the Journal of Food Law and Policy. Recognized for her strong legal writing skills, Caitlin augmented her trial and legal research education with success in moot court and trial competitions and a research fellowship with the National Agricultural Law Center. During law school, Caitlin served as a judicial chamber extern for Associate Justice Courtney Hudson of the Arkansas Supreme Court, where Caitlin researched procedural and substantive issues, wrote bench memorandums with analysis and proposed disposition in preparation for motions and scheduling hearings, and observed oral arguments before the Court. She also served in an externship doing legislative work for the cannabis industry and in an agricultural law clerkship for the Illinois Farm Bureau, drafting memorandums for associate counsel regarding relevant Illinois agricultural laws.

Before earning her J.D., Caitlin earned a master’s degree in strategic brand communication at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, a bachelor’s degree in agricultural media and communications from West Texas A&M University, and an associate’s degree in general education studies with a certification in equine technology from Black Hawk College.

In her pre-law career, Caitlin was a communicator for agricultural branding. She was the manager of communications for the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association; a social media content analyst for John Deere; and an account executive for Rooster, an agriculture and rural branding agency.
