Emyr defends clients in environmental and toxic tort litigation. He has experience representing clients in tort actions including premises liability, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, and he has handled breach of contract, wage and hour, and insurance coverage and subrogation disputes.
Emyr has practiced in all stages of civil litigation including client intake, initial pleadings, written and expert discovery, court hearings, motion practice, trial, settlement, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. He has performed legal research—reviewed medical records, contracts, and other case files; analyzed expert witness reports; and drafted motions in limine and oppositions to same under the Daubert-Lanigan standard. Emyr has experience providing rapid response services for national transportation carriers to analyze crash sites and provide accident reconstruction services following catastrophic multi-vehicle trucking accidents.
Emyr is also a trusted advisor with private practice and in-house legal experience to advise clients effectively on how legal decisions can influence business outcomes. He prioritizes consistent communication, practical analysis, and application of comprehensive litigation strategies to resolve complex business disputes on favorable terms for clients.
During law school, Emyr served as a legal intern for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, where he learned key litigation tactics that supplement his practice.
