Taylor assists in the litigation of a variety of commercial and product liability disputes. His experience includes cases in state and federal court ranging from single plaintiff tort actions to significant multidistrict litigation. He has successfully presented arguments on motions to dismiss and appeared to defend and take depositions. He conducts comprehensive legal research, drafts dispositive motions, and litigates discovery disputes, requests and responses. Taylor’s command of pre-litigation issues has proven invaluable in conducting successful trials.

Taylor earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School where he was on the University’s Journal of Energy and Environmental Law. During law school, Taylor held impressive internships in the federal government, including work as a non-attorney practitioner in the Office of the General Counsel in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and served as a legal intern for the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Energy. Taylor has used his experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs to assist in Shook’s pro bono practice, where he now represents veterans in disability cases before the VA.

Aside from his work at Shook, Taylor serves in the Army National Guard as a JAG Officer. He participated in Students Run Los Angeles while in middle school in Southern California and has been a runner ever since.
