Class Action Litigator Tapped to Lead Shook’s Houston Office, Reports Texas Lawyer

Growing the Houston office and developing associates are two goals of Shook Partner Stephanie McGraw who was promoted to managing partner. McGraw shared her strategic vision for Houston in an interview with Texas Lawyer. McGraw is a class action litigator who joined the firm in 2013. She served on Shook’s Search and Associate Committees, and was active in mentoring and leadership in the Class Action Appellate Group for the firm. 

“Class Action is very busy, the same with traditional product liability litigation, and mass tort work is very busy,” said McGraw.

While Shook is known for its product liability and intellectual property litigation, McGraw plans to help expand commercial litigation and corporate services in Houston. The office has increased to 40 attorneys and will mark its 30th anniversary in 2025.
