Shook Partner Selected as DBJ 40 Under 40

The Denver Business Journal selected Shook Partner Eric Hobbs as a 2025 40 Under 40 winner. Nominees were judged on their leadership, contributions and innovations within their organization along with their community involvement.

Hobbs’ practice is focused on high-stakes litigation and trials throughout the United States. A partner in Shook’s General Liability Litigation practice group, his experience spans all kinds of commercial disputes. Hobbs frequently represents companies as plaintiffs seeking affirmative recovery against other businesses. One of Hobbs’ cases, prosecution of the Lanham Act and common law unfair competition, was recognized as being among the top 25 jury verdicts in the country with a verdict of $189 million. 

An active member in his community, Hobbs served six years on the Board of Directors for Breakthrough T1D (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), the leading global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization. 

Hobbs will be recognized at the 40 Under 40 Awards Dinner on March 13, 2025.
