Two Shook Attorneys Admitted to ADAPT Legal

Shook Partner George Ngengwe and Associate Angelica Andreoli were recently admitted to the Advancing Diversity Across Patent Teams (ADAPT) organization. Founded by corporate leaders, ADAPT’s mission is to increase diversity, equity and inclusion in the intellectual property sector.

Ngengwe and Andreoli were admitted to the program based on their application which highlighted the Shook Scholar’s Institute, an innovative diversity and inclusion development program with concentration in the areas of litigation and trial skills, inclusive leadership development and career success strategies.

Based in Seattle, Ngengwe focuses his practice on patent prosecution, counseling, litigation, and technology transactions. He was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America as a Ones to Watch in the Litigation – Intellectual Property category and received the Shook, Hardy & Bacon John F. Murphy Compass Award for Leadership. 

Andreoli’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property counseling. She represents clients in all aspects of preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications in a number of diverse technology areas. Andreoli is on the Membership Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and a member of the Colorado Bar Association.
