Lexology Names Shook Among Firms of the Year

Lexology has selected Shook as a Firm of the Year - Missouri at an awards ceremony in London earlier this month. Lexology has acquired Who’s Who Legal which has repeatedly chosen the firm as Product Liability Firm of the Year. This award showcases the strength of the firm’s leadership and practices and highlights the growth put forth this past year. 

In 2024, Shook announced several new or expanded practice areas including Complex Litigation Strategic Counseling, Government Investigations & White Collar, and Corporate DEI Consulting, Compliance and Disputes. The Complex Litigation Strategic Counseling group is led by partners Patrick Oot and Jennifer Stevenson and offers an array of strategic counseling services to clients navigating the coordination challenges of mass torts and multidistrict litigation.

Shook’s DEI Consulting group is chaired by Partner John Lewis, Jr., bringing together nationally recognized practice experience in employment, corporate governance, compliance, crisis management and civil rights litigation.

The firm’s Government Investigations and White Collar practice defends businesses and individuals in their most pressing regulatory enforcement proceedings, white collar defense matters and investigations and is led by three senior partners, Bill Corrigan, Andrew Boutros and Patrick Oot. 

Shook is led by Chair Madeleine McDonough and serves clients from 19 cities across the country and in London.
