Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference Features Three Shook Partners

Three Shook environmental and toxic tort partners presented at the Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference (MECC), September 24.

Co-Chair of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Practice Thomas Grever was part of a panel opening the conference with “The Year in Review,” an exchange of the most important news in the field during the last year. Including fact and opinion, Grever and the other panelists discussed changes in regulations, court decisions, policies, and other developments.

Later in the day, Co-Chair of Shook’s Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation Practice Adam Miller and leading ETT Partner Jennifer Hackman presented “Navigating the Complexities of Toxic Tort Litigation,” sharing their insights and experiences in handling high-stakes litigation involving chemical compounds used in consumer products, pesticides, microplastics, and other emerging contaminants.

MECC is hosted by state business and manufacturing associations and supported by EPA and state agencies.
