Orange County Spends Holiday Weekend Volunteering

Over the Labor Day weekend, the Orange County office attended a volunteer day at the Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Club (BBTRC). The Shook team cleaned up the therapy horse stalls, chicken coup, hog pen and the special saddles for disabled riders. The Orange County team also worked together to organize the club’s multiple storage rooms.

The BBTRC offers physical therapy to children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities through structured horseback riding. BBTRC not only provides lessons to riders who may not have access to other programs, but the organization is one of the last horse sanctuaries in the Newport Beach area.

This volunteer project started in April and the office hopes to continue collaborating with the BBTRC. Partner Jad Davis leads the firm’s Orange County office.
