ALM Names Peterson as Young Lawyer of the Year Finalist

Shook Associate Torrey Peterson has been named as a finalist for Young Lawyer of the Year – Litigation by ALM. Each year, ALM hosts The American Lawyer Industry Awards to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals, law firms and legal departments across various practice areas and specialties.

As a trial lawyer, Peterson defends clients in complex product liability actions, with a focus on pharmaceutical drug and surgical device litigations. She has worked on nine different mass tort litigations across seven of Shook’s top clients. In 2024 alone, she has been recognized in litigation by The Best Lawyers in America and Missouri Lawyers Media selected her as a Law Firm Leader in its Up and Coming Awards.

Peterson will be honored and the winner will be announced at ALM’s annual gala November 13 in New York, New York.
