Shook Attorney Elected President of Local Chapter of American Inns of Court

Shook Senior Counsel Lauren Greenspoon has been elected to serve as the president of the Oliver Ellsworth Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Greenspoon previously served as treasurer for six years and will begin her one-year term as president July 1, 2024.

The American Inns of Court is an association of lawyers and judges dedicated to fostering professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills among members of the legal community. Through regular meetings, members are able to build and strengthen professional relationships; discuss fundamental concerns about professionalism and pressing legal issues of the day.

The Oliver Ellsworth Chapter is named after Oliver Ellsworth, the third Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who was revolutionary against British rule and a drafter of the United States Constitution. With the leadership of Greenspoon, the Oliver Ellsworth Chapter will continue to uphold the court’s principles through its activities and programs.

Greenspoon practices out of Shook Hartford and focuses on product liability and mass tort matters. She represents pharmaceutical companies in complex product liability defense cases along with commercial litigation issues.
