Shook PLL Leader Named Among “20 to Know”

Shook Product Liability Litigation Co-Chair Katie Gates Calderon has been named in the “20 to Know” in Law by the Kansas City Business Journal (KCBJ). 

The KCBJ designed the “20 to Know” to introduce readers to legal professionals in key industries and categories. The list highlights the depth of talent with the Kansas City-area leaders and to showcase each individual’s characteristics and what makes them a good attorney. 

“Calderon is a member of Shook Hardy & Bacon’s executive committee and co-chairs the Product Liability Litigation and Food, Beverage & Agribusiness practice groups,” wrote the KCBJ. “Calderon’s practice focuses on defending corporations in tort, product liability and consumer protection cases.

Calderon along with Hildy Sastre and Bill Geraghty lead the firm’s powerhouse product liability team which was a finalist for ALM's Litigation Department of the Year - Product Liability in 2023. The American Lawyer featured Calderon when she was selected to co-lead the practice.
