Shook Pair Earn Lexology Client Choice Award

Shook Partners Josh Becker and Sharon Israel have been named winners in the 2024 Lexology Client Choice Awards. Becker was selected in the “Life Sciences” category and Israel for “Intellectual Property – Patents.” After receiving more than 2,500 nominations, Becker and Israel were chosen, among others, following in-depth research and excellent reviews from clients.

Becker is a successful trial attorney with a national practice concentrating on high-profile complex litigation, including mass torts and class actions. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for his work in both mass tort litigation and product liability litigation. Becker serves on the Law360, Georgia Editorial Board.

Based in Shook Houston, Israel is a Chambers ranked litigation attorney who focuses her practice on intellectual property law and patent litigation. Israel has litigated patents related to a variety of industries and technologies, including wireless communications, oilfield equipment and medical devices. She has served in leadership positions in many IP organizations including her previous role as the president of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
