Environmental, Patents and Privacy Strengths Help Bring Home Recognition for Shook Trio
Missouri Lawyers Media has chosen three Shook attorneys for its annual Up and Coming honor. The lawyers serve clients in three of Shook’s key areas including data and privacy, environmental and intellectual property law. The Up and Coming award recognizes attorneys under 40 who demonstrate professional accomplishment and skill beyond their years.
Partner Brent Dwerlkotte is a litigator with first-chair trial and appellate experience. Dwerlkotte brings a robust background to client service which includes experience as a permanent law clerk to a federal judge and extensive work on class action and mass tort cases, as well his involvement in nearly 30 jury trials. A recent ranking in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Law360’s Rising Star, Environmental are among his accolades.
Associate Jenn Hatcher focuses her practice on class action and complex litigation, as well as appellate work, particularly in the areas of privacy and cybersecurity law. Hatcher’s experience in complex litigation involves handling matters at every stage from pretrial counseling to appeals. Before joining Shook, she clerked for the Missouri and Nevada Supreme Courts.
Associate Paul Vogel practices intellectual property law with a focus on patent prosecution. Vogel practices across a wide variety of technologies and counsels clients on the management of large national and international patent portfolios. He has drafted more than 100 applications including provisional and non-provisional utility applications and design application.
