Shook Associate Named ‘On The Rise’ ALM Award Winner

Shook Associate Caroline Gieser has been named a winner of The Daily Report’s On the Rise Award, which she will receive at the news organization’s upcoming 2023 Southeastern Legal Awards. The award recognizes the Southeast’s most promising lawyers under 40.

Honorees are selected by editors and reporters from Law.com and The Daily Report, along with an external judging panel. To be considered for the honor, lawyers must work in the Southeast and should be innovators, developing unique practice niches, amassing robust books of business, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, showing expertise in litigation or transactional work and committing themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work.

Gieser was recognized for her long string of litigation victories, including a nine-figure verdict for a corporate plaintiff following a two-week trial, which a jury reached after only three hours of deliberations. She was also honored for her pro bono and community involvement. Gieser is a member of the class of 2023 for LEAD Atlanta, a prestigious leadership development program in Atlanta.

She will be honored alongside other award recipients at a ceremony held June 22 at Flourish Atlanta.
