Grinnell College Elects Shook Partner to Board of Trustees

Grinnell College has elected Shook Partner Jon Gray to serve on its board of trustees for a four-year term. Gray was chosen, along with three other new trustees, to help manage and guide the institution. Gray graduated from Grinnell College with a degree in American Studies before attending law school.

“I’m honored to continue to play a role at Grinnell where I began my educational journey,” said Gray. “I look forward to collaborating with the new trustees as we carry on the mission of education and develop strategies to attract new students to this vibrant community.”

Gray joined Shook in 2007 after more than 20 years of serving as a circuit judge in the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of Missouri. He is licensed to practice before the Missouri Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.
