Shook in partnership with The Commercial Law Section of the National Bar Association will present “Intellectual Property and Emerging Technologies,” October 13, 12–1:15 p.m. ET.
Intellectual property law is often a balancing act between knowledge-sharing and knowledge protection. Shook Intellectual Property Attorneys George Ngengwe and Tearra Vaughn will provide an overview of basic principles of intellectual property law and their intersection with the growth of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and quantum computing. Trademarks, trade secrets, copyright and patents will be just some of the topics discussed. This lunchtime seminar is available for CLE credits.
