Shook Announces Key Leadership Changes
Shook announces several management promotions for 2021 which reflect the firm’s core beliefs that diversity in the workplace yields meaningful action and best serves clients.
The leadership changes include Partner Hildy Sastre joining Alicia Donahue to co-lead the firm’s Product Liability Litigation Practice. Partners Michael Mallow and Amir Nassihi join Tristan Duncan to co-chair the firm’s Class Action and Appellate Practice. In addition, three new board members will join the firm’s Executive Committee which is composed of 50% diverse or women attorneys. The new board members include Alicia Donahue, Paul Williams and Trent Webb.
In addition to Shook Chair Madeleine McDonough, Donahue, Webb and Williams, Partners Rob Adams, Katie Gates Calderon, Annie Chuang, William Martucci, Hildy Sastre, Leonard Searcy and Mike Zito serve on Shook’s Executive Committee. Women attorneys lead or co-lead Shook’s Chicago, Houston, Orange County and Tampa offices as well as a number of key practice areas including Class Action & Appellate Litigation, Corporate Services, Data and Discovery Strategies and Product Liability Litigation.
Williams will direct the firm’s Denver office as managing partner. Williams co-leads Shook’s General Liability Litigation Practice. The firm also promoted Partner Cory Fisher, who focuses on patent-related aspects of intellectual property law, to vice chair of the Intellectual Property Practice.
Shook added new Atlanta, Boston and Los Angeles offices in 2019 and attracted a number of key laterals who serve the automotive industry and handle sophisticated high-stakes environmental work.
