Shook Joins KC Law Firms to Raise Donations for Operation Breakthrough

Shook, Hardy & Bacon joined law firms across Kansas City to participate in the annual “Skippy & Skivvies” drive through the Lawyers' Association of Kansas City -- Young Lawyers Section. With many unforeseen challenges this year, this drive raised necessities and monetary donations for Operation Breakthrough, a nonprofit that provides childcare and emergency aid to underserved families in Kansas City. 

From Wednesday, October 21 to Friday, October 30, Shook attorneys and professional staff made donations or bought much-needed items including peanut butter, diapers, and socks. Operation Breakthrough has pivoted to supply services remotely this year through virtual distance learning programs.
