Association of Corporate Counsel Recognizes Shook and TC Energy for Innovation

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) has selected Shook, Hardy & Bacon and TC Energy among its 2020 Value Champions. Each year, the ACC recognizes corporate law departments and external partners for excellence in collaboration.

ACC selected Shook for developing an online tool that saves the client money and improves consistency. The tool is accessible around-the-clock and reduces time spent on licensing by 95 percent. A three-stage flat fee arrangement with reductions in each stage, reflects efficiencies and provides value and budget predictability. It is on track to save the company $100,000 per year in legal advice.
