Ngengwe, Camagong and Nieves Selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity
Shook Partner George Ngengwe has been selected to join the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as a Fellow for 2020. Shook Associates Joan Rabutaso Camagong and Alexandra Nieves will participate as Pathfinders, for early career, high-potential diverse attorneys. General counsel and law firm managing partners committed to building a more open and diverse legal profession make up the LCLD.
“I’m honored to be part of the next generation of diverse lawyers who advocate for our clients’ challenges and growth opportunities,” said Ngengwe, an IP partner who focuses on strategic IP portfolio development, counseling and analysis, privacy and data security, and legal data science. “I look forward to connecting with members of the LCLD this year and in the future.”
The Fellows Program offers a unique value to the leadership-oriented, midcareer attorney because of the exclusive opportunities to network with and learn from the top leaders in the legal field, during the program and into the future. The goal of the LCLD Pathfinder Program is to provide early career attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging professional networks through relationship-building skills.
