Shook Trio to Participate in Leadership Council on Legal Diversity
Shook, Hardy & Bacon Partner Andrew Chang has been selected to join the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity as a Fellow for 2019. Shook Associates Melissa Plunkett and Anitra Raiford will participate as Pathfinders, for early career, high-potential diverse attorneys. General counsel and law firm managing partners committed to building a more open and diverse legal profession make up the LCLD.
“I look forward to the business development opportunities the LCLD offers its Fellows,” said Chang, who focuses on individual, mass tort and class action lawsuits in the health, science and technology sectors. “Developing the next generation of lawyers is key to not only serving our clients well, but also a better reflection of the legal and business communities as a whole.”
The Fellows Program offers a unique value to the leadership-oriented, mid-career attorney because of the exclusive opportunities to network with and learn from the top leaders in the legal field, during the program and into the future. The goal of the LCLD Pathfinder Program is to provide early attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging professional networks through relationship-building skills.
