Friesen to Speak at PTAB Bench Bar Conference

Registration is now open for the PTAB Bench Bar Conference, to be presented by the Institute of Law and Technology in Plano, Texas, October 17, 2018. Co-chaired by Shook Partner Sharon Israel, the event will feature updates on Patent Trial and Appeal Board practice, managing parallel proceedings, inter partes standing, drafting petitions and responses, and insights into the relationship between in-house counsel and trial counsel. 

Israel will present “What’s Going on at the Federal Circuit and Supreme Court and What Does It Mean for AIA Trial Practice,” and Of Counsel Kyle Friesen will present “IPR Standing: Who Has a Right to File IPRs, Who Has a Right to Appeal?”
