Vita: Agentic AI is the Next Big Thing
The use of agentic AI—defined as AI systems that can work on their own to achieve goals without the need for constant human guidance—will bring exciting new possibilities for businesses. Shook Partner Bill Vita discusses potential applications in an article for Interact Law titled “Agentic AI: The Next Big Thing.”
In the article, Vita said that while generative AI might be able to help businesses draft correspondence, agentic AI can help augment their business operations. He said agentic AI especially holds promise for supply chain management and health care.
“If you think Agentic AI is a part of a utopian (or dystopian) distant future, it is not. Startup companies and big tech are both rolling out Agentic AI systems right now,” he said. “Yes, those systems may be new and untried but like all technology, it will get better and better at amazing speed.”
