Shook Shorts: Her Story

Shook Senior Counsel Alicia Menendez served as an editor and Senior Counsel Lauren Greenspoon served as an associate editor of Her Story: The Resilient Woman Lawyer’s Guide to Conquering Obstacles, Book 2, a collection of essays about women in the legal profession. Shook Technology Transactions Practice Group Chair Amy Ragen contributed an essay to the book titled “Career Transitions: Interval Training for Life.” In this two-part podcast, they discuss the book editing process and the stories shared within.

Episode 1

Athletes have embarked on interval training for years. A high-level performer will ramp up, excel at 100%, then slow down and repeat the pattern. The same style can be used to approach careers.
