Ruth joined the firm's San Francisco office in 2007. She practices in the Global Product Liability Group.

Ruth attended the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was an editor of the California Law Review and a Boalt Hall Fellowship recipient. She also earned a public interest certificate by representing indigent clients in death penalty appeals and asylum proceedings. Ruth has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and English from the University of California, Davis, where she was a Regents Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
